Assistance will include, but not limited to:
- Employer subsidy 1st year - $16,000.00
- Employer subsidy 2nd year - $8,000.00
- Tools/equipment and clothing allowance – up to $1,000.00 (paid to the employer to spend on the apprentice)
- Assistance for driver licences etc.
- Costs of off-the-job training – accommodation, travel etc.
- Upskilling of other staff who may be required to assist with the apprenticeship
- Regular pastoral care to ensure successful progression of apprenticeship
